EZ Trim Harvesting EZ AIR Sub-Canopy Airflow System

Meet the EZ Trim Harvesting EZ Air – a fully adjustable and customizable sub-canopy airflow system designed for multi- and single-tier growth. This innovative system goes beyond conventional setups, enhancing photosynthesis and effectively reducing powdery mildew and botrytis pressure. By injecting fresh, CO2-rich air directly into the underside of the canopy, the EZ Air displaces stagnant, moist air surrounding the leaves.

Key Features:

• Adjustable for sub-canopy and above-canopy airflow as a single, double, or quad run for each tier
• Mounting hardware allows complete adjustability of the x, y, and z axis for flexibility in planting densities

Scientific Insights:

Studies reveal that insufficient airflow hinders photosynthesis by suppressing gas diffusion in the leaf boundary layer, an area of still, moist air surrounding the leaf. Increasing airflow reduces this boundary area, allowing improved gas diffusion through the stomata on the leaf's underside. With enhanced CO2 diffusion, photosynthesis increases, leading to higher yields.

Technical Specifications:

• Utilizes an 8” 735 CFM inline fan to pressurize a 6” polyethylene duct
• Forces air through ½” holes spaced every 6” at the ten and two positions on the duct
• Airflow can be measured at a rate of 4 meters per second at each hole and up to 2 meters per second 2 feet away from the duct

A single unit comes standard with 40' of tubing, and perforated air tubing can be ordered in spools of 20', 40', 100, 500', and 1000'.
